Answers
How do I place an advert?
How much does it cost?
Our basic holiday home rental advert costs £99.00 per year. This includes your complete back office, up to 12 photos and a link to your own or any other website. (We reserve the right to remove links to sites which we deem to be unsuitable). It also includes the facility to upload your own or any suitable video (we will automatically ensure video is suitable before publication), and an updatable availabiity chart. You can also opt into "for sale", " holiday swap", "featured property" and "late deal" from your back office.
Can I upload videos for my property?
Yes you can, holidayloop.co.uk is (as far as we know) the only holiday rentals website to allow the use of video to enhance your holiday rentals advert. You can search sites such as YouTube, Google, MySpace, MetaCafe, GoFish, Vimeo, Biku, Yahoo Video, etc for suitable video clips. These may be short documentary or publicity videos made by local tourist boards or promotional companies which are freely available to copy. Just cut and paste the "Video embed code" (we explain exactly how to do this in step 3 of our simple 6 step advertising process). You can add a video at any time. Alternatively, make your own video, feature your property or nearby facilities/ amenities and upload to sites such as YouTube, Google, MySpace, MetaCafe, GoFish, Vimeo, Biku, Yahoo Video, etc before cut and pasting to holidayloop.co.uk as above.

How will local holidaymakers find my advert?
The site will be marketed both locally in the media and world wide on the net. If a holidaymaker wants to find a locally owned holiday home they simply use the optional "homeowner location" menu when searching from the home page. For example you can either prioritise the holiday home location or the home owner location. Meaning you can search for all holiday homes owned by Jersey residents, for example.
How will I be notified of enquiries?
You will be contacted by the holidaymaker either by phone or email. The number of email enquiries you receive is noted against your advert in your back office.

Yes, this will be charged pro rata to your original advert. So, if there are 100 days left for your original one year rental advert to run, we charge cost (£40.00) divided by 365 times days to run, which in this example would cost you £10.95.

Can I add video later?

When you add a new property in step 1 of our simple 6 step upload process, you are offered Country and Region choices for your holiday home location. We may have missed an area which you feel should be listed separately. In this case please let us know, and we'll do our best to get your location mentioned.

Rental agency advertising
